Configure AI Event Triggers with NEXUS Vehicles Manager
Bring every vehicle into Vehicle Manager. Add it, assign an AI or DVR device. Its connection status, alert history, and configuration are visible from that point on. Onboard a new vehicle in minutes, catch the ones that have gone quiet, and set or adjust safety alerts without touching the hardware.
See connection status, AI hardware, and configure driver-safety rules for every vehicle in your fleet, managed individually or all at once.
2000+ Fleets Managed
18+ Billion Telematics Recorded
Every Vehicle, Accounted For
See which vehicles are running AI, AI PRO, or DVR-only hardware, at a glance, before you open a single vehicle record. The NEXUS Vehicles Manager dashboard shows how many vehicles are online, offline, overdue for a check-in, marked out of service, or have never connected at all, so a fleet manager can spot a coverage gap before it becomes a blind spot.
- Vehicles are tracked across AI, AI PRO, and DVR hardware tiers
- Live counts for online, offline, and never-connected vehicles
- Overdue and out-of-service flags surface coverage gaps early
A Record For Every Vehicle
Name, plate, timezone, VIN, and vehicle spec, alongside operational flags like out-of-service. In NEXUS Vehicles Manager, a vehicle is never just a device ID. Fill in as much or as little as your fleet needs — a name and a timezone are enough to get started, and the rest fills in over time as make, model, and weight class are confirmed.
- Name, plate tag, timezone, and VIN identify each vehicle
- Groups organize vehicles for fleet-wide rule assignment
- Out-of-service toggle pulls a vehicle out of overdue tracking
Set Up Camera Behavior
Assign the physical AI or DVR unit with NEXUS Vehicles Manager, then set how the camera behaves: what it records, when it sleeps, and when it counts as overdue. These settings live on the device itself, so once they’re set they hold, whether the vehicle is online or has gone quiet for months.
- Microphone and interior camera toggle on or off per vehicle
- Safety triggers sensitivity & alert thresholds configuration
Configure Driver Safety Triggers & Alerts
Turn each alert on independently, pair it with a display message or audio alert, and tune its own sensitivity or speed threshold. PRO alerts require AI PRO hardware. Together they cover the driver, the road ahead, and the vehicle itself, so a fleet can start with the basics and add PRO coverage as it scales.
- All 11 AI trigger settings are available for customization
- Enable the triggers that are relevant to you, or all at once
Fine control, when you need it
Every alert above is backed by raw device parameters: coefficients, hard limits, enable flags. Edit them directly in NEXUS Vehicles Manager when a fleet needs more than the standard toggles. Filter by AI, AI PRO, or values common to both, search by key, and resend the full parameter set to a device when it comes back online.
- Exposed raw parameters for every AI and AI PRO alert on a device
- Resend all settings to push the full config back to a device, or for all at once
